Deltos Cup 2025 - Rules

Art. 1 ORGANIZATION

1.1 Organizing Committee
The Organizing Committee is composed of the ASD Biciscout Racing Team in collaboration with the sports clubs of the Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, Marche and Veneto Regions affiliated with FCI, ACSI, sponsors and volunteers.

1.2 Reference standards
The “Deltos Cup” circuit will take place in compliance with these regulations, the official program of the circuit and the decisions taken by the competition jury and the Organizing Committees. For anything not covered in these regulations, the regulations and general rules integrated by the FCI apply.

Art. 2 PARTICIPATION

All athletes of both sexes in possession of a valid FCI or UCI-recognized membership or other membership issued by a Sports Promotion Body adhering to the National Cycling Council (e.g. UISP, ACSI, AICS, ENDAS, ACLI, CSI…) as established by the Implementation Rules of the FCI Off-Road Sector whose year of birth is in any case included in one of the categories provided for in the next point are eligible to participate. The use of an approved helmet is mandatory for all participants.

Expected categories:
No subscription required: Under23, Junior M/F;
By subscription:
ES, M1, M2, M3, M4, M5, M6, M7, M8, M9+;
ES, MW1, MW2, MW3, MW4, MW5, MW6, MW7, MW8, M9+.

The category is considered valid when there are at least three athletes per category, otherwise it will be merged with the previous one.

Art.3 REGISTRATION

3.1 Registration
Registrations for the subscription circuit will be open from November 10, 2024 to March 10, 2025 and will be subject to approval by the organization.

3.2 Subscription participation fee

The participation fee for the 6 circuit tests is:

euro 177.00 from 10 November to 10 January 2025
€207.00 from 11th January to 10th March 2024

3.3 Registration methods
Registration for the circuit will take place through the ENDU portal (www.endu.net).

3.5 Payment Methods

– By paying the total registration fee, to the IBAN code IT 76 A 02008 37100 000105662192
ASD BICISCOUT RACING TEAM of the Unicredit Banca agency of Sasso Marconi, made out to asd Biciscout Racing Team, indicating as the reason for payment “Name and Surname of the participating Athlete” and attaching the receipt of the bank transfer.

– By credit card payment, using the service provided by the official circuit service www.endu.net

3.6 K Factor
FCI affiliated companies are required to register their athletes for each individual race under the FCI auspices via the federal computer system at http://ksport.fattorek.it/fci/ , using the race codes predefined by the Italian Cycling Federation. Failure to register via the federal system will result in non-admission to the race.

For Companies affiliated with the Entities of the Consulta, it is sufficient to follow what is reported in the "Subscription" section without obligation of the Factor K. Please remember that participation is not by invitation, therefore failure to pay the registration fee precludes participation.

3.7 Replacing a participant
It is possible to replace a participant only when he/she has regularized the registration. For this operation a secretarial fee of €5.00 will be requested. The deadline for substitutions is March 6, 2024.
It is absolutely forbidden for subscribers to the “ DeltosCup ” circuit, under penalty of disqualification from the circuit, to exchange Chips and/or bib numbers or any other behavior (jumping grids, cutting the route) that may cause sporting damage to other participants and the organizers themselves. The delivery of one's bib to another athlete to allow him to participate in one of the events of the “ DeltosCup ” circuit in place of the legitimate owner, will result in the disqualification of the same from the circuit and from the final ranking. No complaints will be accepted regarding this rule.

3.8 Cancellation of participation
If the member is unable to participate in the circuit, he/she must communicate it by March 10, 2024 to the email info@deltoscup.it ; the registration fee will not be refunded but will be kept valid for the following season. After this date the fee will not be refunded nor will it be possible to use it for the 2025 season.

Art.4 COMPETITIONS

4.1 Features
The races belonging to the “DeltosCup” Circuit are races that comply with the requirements of the Regulations of the Italian Cycling Federation and are open to all the Bodies of the Consulta.

4.2 Timing
The timing will be managed by www.endu.net

4.3 Merit Grid
After the first test, the rankings will be drawn up and the merit grid will be assigned to the first 5 of each category, which they must absolutely respect. All the others will be assigned the subscribers grid. For the Open M/F, Junior M/F categories, the grid will be assigned as per FCI regulations.

4.4. First test merit grid
On the occasion of the first race, the GF Monteriggioni, all the circuit season ticket holders will start on a single grid with the exception of the first 3 in the 2024 edition category who will start on a dedicated grid.

4.4 Departure Times
The departure times of the individual events will be respected.

Art.5 RANKINGS AND AWARDS

5.1 Individual rankings, entry into the rankings
Only season ticket holders who complete the entire GranFondo or Marathon courses within the set maximum times, displaying their bib number clearly and correctly installing the timing chip, will participate in the final rankings. The first 5 in each category will be awarded. This category may certainly be expanded in relation to the number of season ticket holders.

The same are drawn up only on the subscribers to the circuit and are divided into each category. To define the final rankings, the scores of the tests carried out will be added and from the resulting sum a mandatory discard equal to the worst results obtained in the individual six races will be deducted. From this score obtained will then be further subtracted - if present - the penalty quotient obtained for non-compliance with the rules set out in this regulation. This penalty quotient can never be used as a discard and will always be attributed to the final count.

In order to remain in the final ranking , at least 4 of the 6 scheduled races must be completed. In the event of a tie, the best placings achieved will be taken into consideration. In the event of a further tie, the ranking will be decided based on the placing achieved in the last scheduled race.

A category will be considered valid only when it reaches at least 3 athletes .

Individual category awards will be given exclusively to the winning athletes. Awards will not be given to delegates or representatives of the Athlete who did not show up in person.

5.2 “Deltos Cup” Team Trophy
The first 5 companies will be awarded based on the number of classifieds recorded in the final ranking of each event (Granfondo routes). Each team will be awarded 2 points for each participating athlete with a subscription who completes the race route and enters the race ranking. Furthermore, 1 point will be awarded for each participating athlete NOT subscribed to the circuit, but belonging to a subscribed team, who completes the race route. These will increase the score of their team for participation in the final team ranking, but will always be excluded from the individual rankings.

5.3 Individual scores
Participants will be assigned individual scores on a sliding scale shown in the table below.

5.5 Prize Pool
There is a prize pool consisting of technical material and/or cash prizes.

Society:
1. 700 euros in cash and/or material
2. 500 euros in cash and/or material
3. 400 euros in cash and/or material
4. 300 euros in cash and/or material
5. 200 euros in cash and/or material

5.6 Circuit Awards Ceremony
The final awards ceremony of the circuit will be held at the end of November 2025 at Sasso Marconi.

5.7 Leader's jersey TO BE DEFINED
At the end of each race, the provisional leader's jersey will be awarded with the presentation on the awards stage. The same must be worn in the following race. The athlete who does not show up at the ceremony for wearing the leader's jersey and/or does not wear it in the following race, will be penalized with a 10% reduction in the score obtained in the race.

5.8 All Finisher
All subscribers who complete the 6 circuit tests will be defined as All Finishers. In addition, all All Finishers will be awarded 50 points that will increase the final score of the Team ranking.

Art.6 SECURITY MEASURES

6.1 General rules
It is mandatory to use and correctly fasten a helmet approved for cycling. Slower competitors are obliged to make it easier for faster athletes to overtake. Any technical breakdowns of the vehicle must be repaired outside the race track. Anyone who does not respect these rules will be disqualified immediately.

6.2 Insurance
The events will be insured in accordance with FCI, Acsi and Uisp regulations.

6.3 Environmental protection
It is strictly forbidden to throw waste along the race routes. It must be thrown away when passing through the refreshment area. Anyone seen committing this act is punishable by disqualification.

Art.7 MISCELLANEOUS AND OTHER

7.1 Disclaimer
The asd Biciscout Racing Team declines all responsibility for itself and its collaborators, for accidents or damages to people or things that may occur before, during and after the event or as a result of the same. Participation is at your own risk. By registering, the competitor waives any right to sue, even against third parties, against the organizing company and all those physical and legal persons involved in the organization of the event.

7.2 Complaints
As required by current FCI regulations, any complaints must be received by the jury within 30 minutes of the end of the race in written form complete with a security deposit of €20.00. If the protest is accepted, the security deposit will be returned.

7.3 Variations
Circuit regulation changes are reserved to the asd Biciscout Racing Team. All information will be published on this portal.

7.4 Signature
By signing the registration form, you declare that you are in possession of a regular membership card, that you have read the present regulation and that you express your consent to the use of your data, in accordance with the provisions of the Privacy Law n.675 of 31/12/1996. This applies to those who register individually either by form, online, letter or fax.

7.5 Law 675/96 on privacy
In full compliance with the provisions of law 675/96 regarding the protection of personal data, the data requested with the registration will be processed exclusively for the normal secretarial activity of the race indicated above, as well as for any proposals and communications relating to the activities of asd Biciscout Racing Team. The update or cancellation can be requested by writing to: asd Biciscout Racing Team, Via Bazzanese n.52, 40033 Casalecchio di Reno (BO). The desire not to communicate the data in question to others can be expressed using the same methods.

7.6 Image rights
By signing the registration form, the competitor expressly authorizes the organizers to use, free of charge, the images, still and/or moving, that portray him/her during his/her participation in the events belonging to the circuit. The organizers may transfer to their institutional and commercial partners the rights to use the image provided for in this agreement. This authorization to use one's image must be understood as granted for an indefinite period, in compliance with the laws, regulations and treaties in force and without territorial limits throughout the world; for use in various publications and films, including, by way of example and not limitation, promotional and/or advertising materials produced on all media.

7.7 Personal data
In accordance with article 13 of Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, no. 196, we inform you that: a) the data on the registration form are required for registration, to prepare the list of participants, the ranking, the historical archive, to carry out the services declared in the regulation and to send information material from the asd Biciscout Racing Team or its partners. The consequences of failure to provide the data or information above consist in non-admission to the event. The rights of the interested party in relation to the processing of personal data are listed in article 7 of the aforementioned Legislative Decree no. 193/03. At any time, the interested party may consult, modify, delete their data free of charge by writing to the person responsible for processing personal data at asd Biciscout Racing Team Via Bazzanese no. 52, 40033 Casalecchio di Reno.
